Mesothreads (Thread Lifting)

Mesothreads are biodegradable threads made of polydioxanone (PDO)—a material that has been used in surgery for many years. The breakdown process of the thread is strictly controlled and completes in 6-8 months. Thread lifting is an entirely safe procedure for the human body, as polydioxanone is 100% biocompatible with our body’s tissues.
Mesothreads are used to combat fine wrinkles in the periorbital area, to eliminate horizontal forehead lines, frown lines, nasolabial folds, drooping eyelids, and for the correction of the cheekbone, temporal, and perioral areas. The procedure is a one-time treatment.
Smooth thread (“Mono Lifting”) evens out skin tone and color, tightens pores, has a whitening effect, fights wrinkles around the eyes and other fine facial wrinkles, adds volume to the skin, and improves turgor.
Double thread braid (“Tornado Twin Lifting”) is created by twisting two linear threads into a braid, which enhances stimulation and promotes collagen production. This thread is ideal for skin types that require enhanced lifting. The twisted thread is denser and stronger than a simple one.
20 threads in one (“Multi Tornado Lifting”) is a special thread twisted from twenty “mono” threads that gradually dissolve in the skin. This provides better results for adding volume and fighting nasolabial folds, “sunken eyes,” and cheeks. This type of thread is especially effective when combined with procedures such as Botox or Dysport injections, contouring with hyaluronic acid, and plasma lifting.
Double “spring” (“Tornado Screw Lifting”) resembles a screw in shape and gives a natural and strong lifting effect when injected into the area around the eyes and nasolabial zone. It is used on aging skin. The injected thread generates collagen and promotes cell reproduction, stimulating growth.
Thread with 3D barbs (“Magic Rose Up and Omega Lift VL”) is a multidirectional monofilament thread with 3D barbs. It provides a powerful lifting effect, holding sagging, soft facial tissues in three skin layers. It is used to correct disproportionate facial contours, tissue ptosis, and lifting of the middle and lower thirds of the face—cheekbones, nasolabial folds, “bulldog cheeks,” and to correct side effects after plastic surgery.

- Pregnancy and breastfeeding period;
- Oncological diseases;
- Epilepsy;
- Hemophilia (blood clotting disorder);
- Acute infectious diseases;
- Autoimmune diseases;
- Inflammatory processes in the planned injection area (acne, herpes);
- Tendency to scar formation;
- Presence of non-dissolvable implants in the tissues.
The thread lifting procedure is generally well-tolerated, without intense pain sensations. For no more than 2-3 days at the injection sites, redness, itching, swelling, and hematoma may occur. After 3 days, the injection marks will no longer be visible.
After the installation of mesothreads, you need to:
- Avoid touching the injection site to prevent infection, and do not massage it;
- Avoid hot baths, saunas, and solariums for a few days;
- Do not use makeup on the injection site on the day of the procedure and the next day.
