Mesoroller

Mesoroller

Mesoroller is one of the latest inventions in modern cosmetology, designed to solve many problems such as photoaging and chronoaging, skin aging, scars of different origins, hyperpigmentation, stretch marks, and more. The mesoroller is a roller with many micro-needles of varying lengths from 0.5 to 3mm. In professional cosmetology, mesorollers with longer needles are used, as their use on the skin at home can lead to undesirable consequences. In our center, procedures are performed with mesorollers of 1, 1.5, and 2 mm in length, depending on the area of impact. A mesoroller with 1 mm needles is used for the eye area.

The principle of the procedure involves subcutaneous introduction of special agents using such a roller. The mesoroller is rolled over the skin, creating micro-punctures that reach a certain layer of the skin, depending on the length of the needles. Through these punctures, necessary therapeutic agents penetrate the skin to address specific problems.

In addition to “transporting” cosmetic products into the dermis, the mesoroller also functions as a stimulator of neocollagenesis. Creating multiple micro-punctures stimulates fibroblasts (connective tissue cells) to synthesize new collagen and elastin fibers, which helps to increase skin firmness and tone.

Procedure Protocol:
  • Makeup removal;
  • Gentle peeling;
  • Anesthesia;
  • Mesoroller;
  • Alginate mask;
  • Protective cream.
Effect of the Mesoroller
As a result of the mesoroller, a new layer of collagen is formed, and skin nutrition improves. The skin becomes firm and toned, fine wrinkles are eliminated, and stretch marks and scars are wonderfully smoothed out. When used with specific products, hyperpigmentation is reduced, hair growth is restored, and cellulite manifestations are eliminated. For maximum results, a course of procedures is necessary, averaging 4 to 8 with an interval of 7 days.

Contraindications for Using Mesoroller
  • Acne in the inflammatory stage;
  • Open wounds;
  • Eczema;
  • Psoriasis;
  • Rosacea;
  • Large moles;
  • Warts.
Side Effects of Mesoroller

Overall, the mesoroller procedure is quite easy to tolerate and does not cause significant discomfort. When using a roller with needles 2 mm or longer, skin redness may occur for 2-3 days.

Post-Procedure Tips.

After using the mesoroller, it is necessary to protect the skin with a sunscreen with a high protection factor – SPF 30-50. In addition, to maintain a pronounced effect, patients are recommended to use a mesoroller for home use with needle lengths of 0.3-0.5 mm.
