Mechanical Facial Cleansing

**Mechanical facial cleansing** is one of the most effective and beneficial cosmetic procedures, offering three main advantages: cleansing, rejuvenation, and nourishment. Everyone needs to clean their skin, but those with oily skin should pay extra attention to their pores. If you have comedones (blackheads), acne, or an oily sheen, it indicates that you need a cosmetic facial cleansing.
The procedure involves cleaning the face of makeup and impurities, steaming the upper layer of the skin, and then manually removing all acne, comedones, and other impurities with special tools. At the end, the cosmetologist applies a soothing and tightening mask, as well as a restorative cream.
Mechanical cleansing can be performed on both the face and the back. We use cosmetics from Academie (France), Renew (Israel), and IS Clinical (USA).
- Cleansing.
- Steaming the epidermis.
- Mechanical cleaning.
- Mask according to skin type.
- Toning.
- Finishing cream.
You will feel the results immediately after the procedure – the skin becomes smooth, matte, and very soft to the touch. Inflammations, sebaceous plugs, comedones (“blackheads”) disappear, pores noticeably shrink, and the overall condition of the skin improves.
There are not many contraindications for mechanical cleansing, but there are cases when the procedure should be postponed. These include: herpes, acne during the inflammation stage, eczema, and various dermatitis.
For the day following the procedure, noticeable redness and slight swelling may occur. However, the impressive effect of this procedure is definitely worth tolerating minor inconveniences.
After mechanical cleansing, it is recommended:
- Do not use decorative cosmetics for a day;
- Avoid using alcohol-based lotions or tonics for 3 days;
- Use a moisturizing (but not oily) cream.
